The sculptures are located throughout the township of Yinnar along the main street and in the gardens, as well as in arc Yinnar exhibition spaces. Three prizes will be awarded, the Allen Prize for Exterior Sculpture $5,000, the Glover Prize for Interior Sculpture $2,000 and the Harry Ballis People's Choice Award $1,000.

Lifeline Gippsland is once again holding its massive Book Sale! A treasure trove for any book lover with categories such as History, Crime, Cooking, Children’s, Travel, Art, Music, Sport, Fiction and Non-Fiction, Romance, Business, Gardening, Technical, Geography, Religion, Education and Poetry. The sale will also include bookshelves, reading lamps and other reading-related items. This event is a fund-raising activity for the organisation to generate much-needed funds to support the 24-hour Telephone Crisis Support Service 13 11 14, and to assist with running other important programs that help our Gippsland community each year.

Leongatha Farmers market runs from 8.30am till 1.00pm in the grounds of Community College Gippsland (located between Horn St and Howard St, Leongatha) The market boasts a range of stalls including fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers, freshly baked breads and pastries, homemade jams and pickles, organic meats, free range eggs, freshly caught fish (when available ), local cheese, wine and olive oil . Also be prepared to stimulate your taste buds with our range of delicious hot foods, from paella to gourmet sausages, incredible Calamari, and for those with a sweet tooth a great range of cakes and slices. We even have treats for your furry friends. Don't forget the Makers Market with lots of fantastic local crafts. Not to be missed for starting your Christmas shopping. Live music adds to the atmosphere of the market and for children we also have face painting available. The market is held every fourth Saturday of the month. We hope you enjoy our next market. All Aboard! Founded in 1978, the GMES operates the Newman Park Miniature Railway, located via Peterkin St, Traralgon for the enjoyment of the Latrobe Valley residents and visitors. The Railway has 200 metres of 3½" Gauge track, and 1,100 metres of parkland 5" and 7¼" Gauge track crossing three small bridges. Connecting tracks, sidings & steaming bays add another 500 metres of track. The miniature railway locomotives are typical of mainline and narrow gauge railways found in many parts of the world. Both steam and diesel outlines can be seen hauling public passenger trains.
