Energy Australia Classic Singles @ Newborough Bowling Club

Newborough Bowling Club is conducting its 22nd consecutive Classic Singles and, with Sponsor
EnergyAustralia, are aiming to attract the highest quality competitors to the outstanding facilities of Newborough Bowling Club.
Bowls Australia rules and Bowls Victoria dress codes will apply.
Newborough Bowling Club endeavours to prepare the highest quality greens with two new bent greens and one green.

This is an open event for all bowlers, with 96 bowlers competing over 4 days.
Monday 14th & Tuesday 15th January 48 players participate in 16 sections of 3 players. Each player
plays the other two players in that section, with the section winner continuing to Wednesday’s knock‐out play.
Wednesday 16th January 32 section winners play 3 rounds of knock‐out competitions.
Thursday 17th January (am) Semi‐finals

Kids Fun Day Fundraiser @ Heyfield

Come and join our Kids Fun Day fundraiser for the Heyfield Wetlands.

There will be market stalls, food and drinks and heaps of fun for the kids including: Jumping castle, gladiator fun castle, tractor pull train, kids sumo suits, mini footy clinic, minibeast discovery & facepainting.

Kids tickets are $12 and entry gives unlimited play. accompanying adults enter for FREE

Koonwarra Saturday Dance @ Koonwarra Hall

Cost is $6.00 includes a raffle ticket.

The funds go toward the up keep of the hall.

People from the age of 50+.

We do social sequence dance’s.

We start at 8pm till 11.30pm

Pakenham Community Market *Cancelled until further notice* @ Pakenham Football Club

New, used, trash, treasures, you name it the market has the lot.

The trash and treasure market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month come hail, rain or shine.

Conveniently situated on the western edge of Pakenham right on the Princess Hwy, you can’t miss it.

The market is held on the Pakenham Major Recreation Oval No2 and it is distinguished from the others with the Pakenham Football Club Stand on the side of the oval.

Market is open 8:00am till 1:00pm on the 3rd Sunday of every month (not January)

Trafalgar Australia Day Breakfast @ Trafalgar Public Hall

The Australia Day event includes Award of Trafalgar Citizen of the Year and Junior Citizen of the Year, guest spesker and will conclude with the famous Lions Club Breakfast.

The ceremonies will commence at 8.00am on Saturday 26th January at the Trafalgar Public Hall, Contingent St Trafalgar, concluding at 10.00 am.

This is a free event and all are most welcome to attend.

Leongatha Community Market @ Community College Gippsland

Leongatha Community market runs from 8.30am till 12.30pm in the grounds of Community College Gippsland  (located between Horn St and Howard St, Leongatha)

The market boasts a range of stalls including fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers,  freshly baked breads and pastries, homemade jams and pickles, honey from Blue Tree Honey Farm, organic meats, free range eggs, freshly caught fish (when available ), local cheese, wine and olive oil . Also be prepared to stimulate your taste buds with our range of delicious hot foods, from paella to gourmet sausages, incredible Calamari,  and for those with a sweet tooth a great range of cakes and slices. We even have treats for your furry friends.

Don’t forget the Makers Market with lots of fantastic local crafts. Not to be missed for starting your Christmas shopping.

Live music adds to the atmosphere of the market and for children we also  have face painting available.

The market is held every fourth Saturday of the month. We hope you enjoy our next market.
