The Hello Campaign is raising mental health awareness in the Latrobe Valley by reminding people of the importance of social connections. It promotes the role of social connection in improving our mental health and wellbeing, preventing mental illness and helping us to live well.
At least 11 more pop-ups are planned until the first week of November and will provide people with a safe space to say hello and connect over a free hot beverage.

Anglican Parish of Korumburra and Poowong is holding it’s Friday Family Fun Fair, 11 October – 3pm to 6pm and Saturday Fete, 12 October – 9am to 12 noon, at St Paul’s Parish Hall, Bridge Street, Korumburra.
There’ll be lots of fun for all the family….Face Painting, Games and Activities, Music and Sausage Sizzle at our
Friday Fun Fair, as well as our more traditional Fete Stalls over both days – Cakes, Plants, Linen and Lace, Books and Bling and much more.
The Moe Social Dance club will be holding their 37th Annual Ball on Friday 11th October at the Newborough Public Hall in Balfour St, Newborough from 8.00pm until Midnight.
The Music will be supplied by the Silhouettes and the entry fee will be $10. There will be a raffle, spot prizes, Barn Dance and Monte Carlo prizes during the dance.
Patrons are asked to please bring a plate of Supper to share.

This event covers all aspects of bushfire preparedness for residents in the Moe South, Hernes Oak, Coalville and Narracan areas.
Please allow three hours for this interactive event that has been written specifically for the aforementioned areas.
The South Gippsland branch of the Australian Plant Society will be holding their Native flower Show on the weekend of October 12th and 13th at the Leongatha Recreation Reserve.
As well as plant and book sales there will be a large array of specimens and a floral display.
