Its that time again where the Community of Yarragon are gathering donated items for their Good Friday Appeal online auction.

Various Community Groups will come together hosting events to provide a variety of entertaining, cultural, sporting and fun activities for community involvement throughout the third week of February every year. Most events are free of charge or a nominal entry is payable.

The Moe/Newborough Keenagers Table Tennis group meet every Monday & Thursday from 9am to 11.30am at the Newborough Leisure Centre. You must be over 55 to attend and the cost is only $3. This covers the court hire and you can also receive a Coffee or Tea afterwards.

SMART RECOVERY is a self-management and recovery training program.
It is run weekly – every Tuesday at Moe Latrobe community Health Service from 10.30 am to 12.00pm.
It is a free group program assisting people experiencing any problematic behaviour such as drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, food, shopping, and internet addiction.
It is guided by trained professionals and peers, in which participants come to help themselves and each other through non-judgemental discussion and problem solving.
SMART RECOVERY is based on a 4 point program – enhancing and maintaining motivation, coping with urges, problem solving and lifestyle balance.
