Every Thursday from October 8th until April 1st, get involved in the Morwell Golf Club Summer Daylight Saving Chicken Run.

$5 for members and $8 for non-members. Under 15 years free, if accompanied by an adult.

This 9 hole competition is designed to encourage family and friends to play golf at any time of the day on a Thursday.

Koonwarra Farmers Market @ Koonwarra Memorial Park Hall

You’ll find a variety of around 40 stalls with an assortment of produce from local farmers, growers and specialty food producers.

Held on the first Saturday every month, set in the contemporary and rural village of Koonwarra, this community event offers the best of local produce, and was founded in November 2000 by a not-for-profit association of the regions growers, producers and specialty food-makers.

Products that are not available in the supermarkets are always a feature.

Christmas Toy Run @ Nefertiti Court

Eastern Riders Gippsland, Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club 19 and Riders Evolution Social Motorcycle Club are conducting the 21st Annual Gippsland Motorcyclists Christmas Toy Run.

Helping local families in a time of need the ride will head to Glengarry and conclude at Old Gippstown in Moe.

Donate a toy to the Salvation Army or St Vincent de Paul Society or contact Alf on 0434 618 689 for more information.

The Creators Collective Makers Market *Event has been cancelled* @ Lardner Park

The Creators Collective Makers Market will be on Sunday 6 December 2020 from 9am – 2pm, bringing you over 150 craft and produce stalls, an abundance of food trucks/stalls for lunch and an array of activities, demonstrations, and displays throughout the day.

The collective is a volunteer-run incorporation dedicated to providing opportunities to local small businesses. Our members all own and operate small businesses throughout Gippsland and encourage the local community to ‘support local’.

Kongwak Market is held every Sunday* rain, hail or shine.

An indoor and undercover stalls selling a selection of vintage/retro and second hand home wares, clothing, albums, art, jewellery, local produce, plants, books, live music, great food and coffee plus a fun atmosphere.

It is set in a huge shed and there are outdoor stalls and hand made items, all undercover so the market is on in all weather.

social distancing measures have been applied with hand sanitiser and sign in register on entry.

Smart Recovery – Meetings now online

SMART Recovery is a global self-help, mutual aid program that offers a place for people to get together to try to change addictive behaviours that are harmful to themselves and others.Addictive behaviours can include problematic drinking, substance use, gambling, over-eating, shopping and others.

every meeting is run by trained facilitators who will help identify goals and set an achievable plan, focusing on the present and not the past.

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, meetings are now being held online.
