CountryRoads/ On The Road Again Aussie Lyrics Competition @ Online
Jan 26 all-day

Here’s your chance to put an Aussie stamp on two of the world’s most popular country songs – Country Roads/On The Road Again.

Drought Angels is proud to release the recording of this country medley performed by Aussie music legend Marty Rhone, featuring Dani Young, Albert Lee and Eddie Hedges just to name a few.

To celebrate Australia Day, Drought Angels is giving you the chance to put your own spin on these country classics. Get together with your mates this Australia Day and come up with the most classic Aussie lyrics for this classic country medley. We don’t want you to change every line so the songs are unrecognisable, just tweak it to give it that Aussie flavour.

Send your lyrics to Drought Angels at admin1@droughtangels.org.au and Marty Rhone himself will judge the entries. Marty will then record the winning entry which will be played right here on your favourite radio station. The winner will also receive a copy of the recording.

entries close 31st January 2021
