Smart Recovery – Meetings now online

SMART Recovery is a global self-help, mutual aid program that offers a place for people to get together to try to change addictive behaviours that are harmful to themselves and others.Addictive behaviours can include problematic drinking, substance use, gambling, over-eating, shopping and others.

every meeting is run by trained facilitators who will help identify goals and set an achievable plan, focusing on the present and not the past.

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, meetings are now being held online.

Twilight Golf @ Moe Golf Club

Morwell Golf Club Chicken Run @ Morwell Golf Club

Every Thursday from October 8th until April 1st, get involved in the Morwell Golf Club Summer Daylight Saving Chicken Run.

$5 for members and $8 for non-members. Under 15 years free, if accompanied by an adult.

This 9 hole competition is designed to encourage family and friends to play golf at any time of the day on a Thursday.

Huge Plant Sale @ Lions Kiosk

Heaps of flowering plants and ground covers for sale as well as fruit trees and vegetable seedlings starting at just $1.

all funds raised will be donated to the Lardner and District Primary School for maintenance and repairs to their deck area.

Located at the Lions Kiosk on Palmerston Street, this Friday and Saturday from 9am to 1pm or until sold out!!

Yarragon Craft & Produce Market @ Yarragon Public Hall

The market will be held at Waterloo Park Yarragon during the drier months (subject to weather conditions) or outside the Public Hall during the wetter months.

Now is the time to get your veggie seedlings planted and we’ll have heaps on offer, as well as free range eggs, hope farm bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, Seers honey, local jewellery and knits and so much more.

Leongatha Community Market @ Community College Gippsland

Leongatha Community market runs from 8.30am till 12.30pm in the grounds of Community College Gippsland  (located between Horn St and Howard St, Leongatha)

The market boasts a range of stalls including fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers,  freshly baked breads and pastries, homemade jams and pickles, honey from Blue Tree Honey Farm, organic meats, free range eggs, freshly caught fish (when available ), local cheese, wine and olive oil . Also be prepared to stimulate your taste buds with our range of delicious hot foods, from paella to gourmet sausages, incredible Calamari,  and for those with a sweet tooth a great range of cakes and slices. We even have treats for your furry friends.

Don’t forget the Makers Market with lots of fantastic local crafts. Not to be missed for starting your Christmas shopping.

Live music adds to the atmosphere of the market and for children we also  have face painting available.

The market is held every fourth Saturday of the month. We hope you enjoy our next market.

Mirboo North Country Market @ Baromi Park

with not only delicious food/drink for you to purchase, but also a terrific range of plants, crafts, soaps, jewellery, candles and more!

The market will also be back at Baromi Park from 8am-1pm.

Covid-19 regulations will still apply such as one way traffic (one entry/exit), hand sanitiser, masks, social distancing and take away food/drink only.

Kongwak Market @ Kongwak General Store

Kongwak Market is held every Sunday* rain, hail or shine.

An indoor and undercover stalls selling a selection of vintage/retro and second hand home wares, clothing, albums, art, jewellery, local produce, plants, books, live music, great food and coffee plus a fun atmosphere.

It is set in a huge shed and there are outdoor stalls and hand made items, all undercover so the market is on in all weather.

social distancing measures have been applied with hand sanitiser and sign in register on entry.
