Red Cross Lifeblood is asking as many of us to roll up our sleeves and do your bit by becoming a regular blood donor. Remember that just one donation can save up to three lives and a new donation is needed every four minutes to keep up with demand throughout summer.

Yarragon Craft & Produce Market @ Yarragon Public Hall

The market will be held at Waterloo Park Yarragon during the drier months (subject to weather conditions) or the Public Hall during the wetter months.

Now is the time to get your veggie seedlings planted and we’ll have heaps on offer with fresh fruit and vegetables, Seers honey, local jewellery and knits and so much more.

Our 116th Show is on Saturday 24th February 2024, from 8.30am to 4.00pm at the Foster Showgrounds, Station Road Foster.

The Foster Show is a celebration of agriculture, the foundation of many families and businesses in South Gippsland. We’re proud to offer an event true to what country shows started as – a showcase of the best stock, produce and crafts in the district and the opportunity for locals to catch up with old mates and check out what’s new in farming and their community.

Regardless of age, gender or background, there’s something for everyone at the Foster Show.

Leongatha Community Market @ Community College Gippsland

Leongatha Community market runs from 8.30am till 12.30pm in the grounds of Community College Gippsland  (located between Horn St and Howard St, Leongatha)

The market boasts a range of stalls including fresh fruit and vegetables, plants and flowers,  freshly baked breads and pastries, homemade jams and pickles, honey from Blue Tree Honey Farm, organic meats, free range eggs, freshly caught fish (when available ), local cheese, wine and olive oil . Also be prepared to stimulate your taste buds with our range of delicious hot foods, from paella to gourmet sausages, incredible Calamari,  and for those with a sweet tooth a great range of cakes and slices. We even have treats for your furry friends.

Don’t forget the Makers Market with lots of fantastic local crafts. Not to be missed for starting your Christmas shopping.

Live music adds to the atmosphere of the market and for children we also  have face painting available.

The market is held every fourth Saturday of the month. We hope you enjoy our next market.

Golden Beach Market @ Golden Beach Community Garden

Golden Beach Market, an eclectic mix of locally crafted dolls, woodwork and wearables, funky clocks, art, photography, jewellery hand painted and sewn surprises is now on even more often on Saturday mornings. What began as an enterprise to raise awareness of the new Golden Beach Art Gallery, to be opened to the public soon this year, has grown in popularity for its successful support of local creative community.

Gippsland Vehicle Collection Rarities & Replicas @ 1A Sale Road Maffra

The Gippsland Vehicle Collection would like to introduce their latest display RARITIES AND REPLICAS where there will be approximately 50 vehicles on display.

Fabulous cars such as:

A 1948 Tucker Torpedo (named so because of its striking shape). This is the 45th of the 51 cars which were produced and the only one in Australia

A replica of a 1965 AC Cobra

The Darracq Special – Old Git’s folly

An Excalibur – Only 3,500 ever made
