Jumbunna Bush Market @ Jumbunna Community Hall

The Jumbunna Bush Market has been running for 40 years and is on the 1st Sunday of each month 8.30am – 12.30pm.

Craft, Food, Treasures and Fresh Produce available – all proceeds going towards restoration & running of the hall building.

You can also enjoy a sausage from the BBQ, or cuppa and delicious cake.

Why not take a pleasant Sunday drive and see what the market has to offer.

Community Market – Boolarra @ Boolarra Memorial Hall

To raise funds for the Boolarra Memorial Hall, on the first Sunday of each month the Boolarra Community Development Group will host Boolarra Community Markets.

Bric-a-brac, clothing, books, plants, veggies.

The Gippsland Vehicle Collection would like to introduce their latest display RARITIES AND REPLICAS where there will be approximately 50 vehicles on display.

Fabulous cars such as:

A 1948 Tucker Torpedo (named so because of its striking shape). This is the 45th of the 51 cars which were produced and the only one in Australia

A replica of a 1965 AC Cobra

The Darracq Special – Old Git’s folly

An Excalibur – Only 3,500 ever made

A Chevrolet Corvette – only one made by Greenwood

Maffra And District Car Club Boisdale Hillclimb Round 7 @ Boisdale Hillclimb Track

Maffra And District Car Club will hold Round 7 of the Boisdale Hillclimb Series, with a Long Track, Day Meeting.
A variety of cars – from standard road cars, to modified sports sedans and purpose built buggies – will race against the clock on the gravel hillclimb track.
Junior and Senior drivers alike will all be trying to get their fastest time to win their respective classes, and for the outright win.
There is free entry to all spectators, a playground will keep the kids amused, and a kiosk will be open throughout the event.

Neighborhood Watch Latrobe Need New Members

Neighborhood Watch Latrobe is a group of volunteers that work on many different levels within the community to ensure a safe and secure environment to all people in the Latrobe Valley region.

They’re welcoming new volunteers to assist with sausage sizzles, “Secure Number Plate” days and other events in the Latrobe Valley.

Keenages Table Tennis @ Newborough Leisure Centre

The Moe / Newborough Keenagers Table Tennis group meet every Monday & Thursday from 9:30am to 11.30am at the Latrobe Leisure Centre. You must be over 55 to attend and the cost is only $4. This covers the court hire and you can also receive a Coffee or Tea afterwards.

Moe / Newborough Keenagers Table Tennis Club was established in 2006 as a non-profit organisation with the purpose of providing participation, recreation and a social outlet for older residents and retirees in the Moe / Newborough area who would like a game of table tennis.

Currently the Club has 96 members (in pre-covid times we had over 120 members the most of any club in country Victoria).

The Club promotes a relaxed, social and friendly atmosphere which attracts people to play table tennis, from not just Moe, but many of the neighbouring municipalities.

Details of Keenagers table tennis are:

  • Club plays at the Latrobe Leisure Centre, Old Sale Road, Newborough.
  • Sessions are held Monday and Thursday from 9.30am to 11.30am
  • Session fees are $4.00, with an annual Insurance fee of $10.00. New Members, after the first three sessions who wish to join the Club, then must pay the $10.00.
  • Table tennis is social stress-free recreation with no pennant competition structure and the opportunity to interact with like-minded people.
  • Playing table tennis also provides a healthy lifestyle through coordination, balance, flexibility and the ability to exercise the mind.
