This event is a free community event. Alchohol free. It engages many local organizations and participants eg. bands, schools,scouts.,Rotary, churches.,Police Local Businesses as well as Latrobe City Council , Moe Racing Club & the RSL are sponsoring this event. Organized Childrens activites will be provided by an accedited team Children show bags available. Santa is organized to come. The police have been informed of the event to help out with any situation that might not be safe.
Safety flameless candles will be used.. Local performers will participate by leading carols and singing individually. Latrobe Community Concert band and Morwell Brass band will be playing to lead carols. Local Councillors have been invited and Councillor Brad Law has been invited to Open the carols. Free Programmes will be printed up for the audience.
Raffle Prizes are being donated by local shop keepers. Deaksy from 3GG Radio station is the MC . Sound and lighting will be supplied by a local supplier. Advertising will be through the radio ,local paper,Carol booklet in the Latrobe Valley Express and use of social media.
The event is open to all ages in the community. We encourage all nationalities to come together for this special event and celebrate the Christmas season.

Get a Family Photo – families who come dressed in their Christmas best can take advantage of the free family photos that are on offer! A Christmas scene will be created for the backdrop and photos will be taken and printed on the night.

For anyone who may be alone on Christmas Day, a lunch will be available at 12 noon. This event is run by volunteers within the community and the venue is being provided by the Uniting church in Sutton St. Bookings are essential.
Euchre is played at Moe Bowling Club every Wednesday Night at 7.30pm.
A light supper is provided. Cost is $2.50 per player, games begin at 7.30pm.

The Moe Social Dance Club is having a New Years Eve Dance in the Newborough Hall, Balfour St, Newborough on New years Eve, 8.00pm until 1.00am. The Silhouettes Duo will supply the music and there will be spot prizes, Monte Carlo and a Raffle.
